Disney Launches 'American Idol' Attraction

Walt Disney World Resort is launching a new attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park on Feb. 14 called "The American Idol Experience." In the same vein as the hit TV show, park guests will audition to be one of three performers on the seven main preliminary shows hosted daily by the attraction, beginning at 11 a.m. Of the 21 performers, seven will go on to compete in the "Grand Finale" show, which occurs at the end of each day at 8 p.m. The Finale winner receives a Dream Ticket, which gives them the ability to cut to the front of the line at any American Idol audition in the city of their choice.
